When viewing long lists of information using the sorting, filtering, and paging features this program offers will help you locate the information you need more efficiently. Click the icon to learn more.

Use the sorting feature to arrange the rows of informaton in accordance with a particular column of information either in ascending or descending order.

How to sort a list

  1. Click on the title text of the column you want to sort by. The background color of the title will highlight to indicate the column for which the sort is being done.
  2. Click the title again to reverse the order of the sort.

Use the Search Options filtering feature to narrow down the records when viewing the Saved quotes and Order History lists.

How to filter a list:

  1. Select or enter a value for one or more of the available search options.

  1. Click the Search button and the search will return a list matching your criteria.

Use the paging control feature to navigate multi-page lists.

In a number of cases there are screens containing lists, such as the Saved Quotes and Order History screens, that generate a multiple row list of records. For certain lists, when the list becomes long it is broken into a multi-page list. When this occurs paging controls are enabled to negotiate the list.

To move from page to page, use the paging controls in the following ways:

  1. You can specify the number of items per page in the range of 10, 25, 50 or 100. Selecting this number will determine the number of rows displayed per page.
  2. You can select a Page number from the control to go directly to that page.
  3. You can click on the Next and Prev (Previous) links to page through one page at a time. Clicking Prev from the first page brings up the last page and clicking Next from the last page brings up the first page.
  4. You can click on the First and Last links to to go directly to the first or last page in the list. Clicking First from the first page refreshes the first page and clicking Last from the last page refreshes the last page.
